Allostatic load

Do we need to know the types of allostatic load? repeated hits, prolonged response etc,

as apparently it is in the Grivas textbook but not the others. Do we actually have to know it or is it just a bit of extra info?

so you're saying if someone went into the exam tommorow with out ever hearing of the term 'allostatic load' they would be at no disadvantage?

No, I think he means the types of allostatic load, they exist in the green box in Grivas serves to enhance your knowledge and increase understanding, it won't be examined.
