3 Median Method

When i am fitting a straight line using the 3 Median method, and there are an odd number of points (13 points), how do i divide the dot points into 3 quadrants to find the line.

the first an last parts must be equal, the middle does not. so in your case for 13, in order the parts will consist of : 4,5,4  dots.
