I'm going to research Frida Kahlo. Her artworks are more personal-based than cultural/historical, but I'm interested in her and I shall manage to weave in some historical and cultural setting into my response.

Henri Fuseli, because he's a badass.

Ps. Got my top arts notification today.
It pretty much says 'don't callus, we'll call you. And if not by the 1st November, FORGET IT'

WHAT. WHERE. WAS IT BY MAIL.
I'm rushing down my lobby to retrieve it right now. I don't have underwear on and my pants are loosely fitted (pyjamas, brah) but I don't care.

Ahaha. Sorry I spoiled it for you.
Asos is alright, there was one dress there that I loved, but I generally make my own.

Oh and by the way, have you guys notice that the people they tend to choose are the people that have like more than 4-5 folios for unit 3? ..... :(

WHAT!
I only have one folio.
For both units.
Sure, they have a lot in them. But only one!

Apparently the chalk board corner guy (look at me I'm SO FABULOUS) had 10!
But imho... it looked like he just threw his folio onto the wall without any consideration... Some photos were really amazing, but he should have just submitted those. He widened his chances by his approach, but it ruined his work... ANYWAY
Yeah... 10 folios.

Yes, I went on a studio arts excursion and we got to see the folios of the top art students and I swear not one person had one folio..... 4-5+++++, which was really impressive but at the same time made me feel like crap lol :(
I don't know, hopefully they can see the goodness in one folio vs 10 folios of another person....

yep, i've got one folio each for unit 3 and 4. in fact my unit 4 one is a4 in size.
i went to the top arts excursion too - freaked the hell out of me. i don't regret it though, if i were to do so much work then i wouldn't have done so well in other subjects too.

oh no, you didn't spoil it. thanks for telling me!
wooow if you made your dresses all the time, why didn't you use textiles for studio art? or did that not fit your theme?

I don't like the way the course works, I usually just pick up material and make shit, so planning for half a year about turning on a machine shits me.
Same with media, don't like planning photos.
Also, there is NO WAY I could have handled two folios, and Top Arts, as cheesy as it sounds, is a dream I chased.
