MAXIMUM WEIGHT

2x10 =40 T.T FAIL LOL

hey guys! umm are they any of you who DIDN'T use lami's theorem like myself?

i resolved the vertical forces right

T1 x sin (60) + T2 x cos (30 ) = m x g
we knew T2 = (T1)xsquare root of 3

so i subbed it in and worked out m which turned out to be 40 kg LOL

Well least you didn't get m=1kg!
Yeah I used lami's theorem and that's probably why I screwed up because I had to times the 0.5 in the denominator to the numerator which was 1 on the otherside. Unfortunately my mind told me 0.5x1=2 and not only that I said g=49 which altogether gave me the ridiculous answer of 1...

well your meant to assume that g is 9.8 so im not sure
but i promised myself i wouldnt get into this shit :D

but does anyone think that was easy as fuck??????
one of the questions was like:
show that
(2x2+3)/(x2+1)=2+1/(x2+1)

i mean, what
i thought it was going to be hardddd

Yeah it sucks, people will be differentiated by silly mistakes instead of knowledge :/ Hopefully tomorrow is harder....but not too hard!

Yeah I resolved too, it's a perfectly fine method and it's within the study design so dw
