from what i've heard you don't have to be good at maths at all for a good further score.

just last year one of my mates got 32 in methods and a 50 in further.

so i would say that further is much easy than methods (although they do test you on different stuff)

I did methods and further this year, further is simple stuff which if you can do methods you should ace further, though you have to ace all your sacs and the exams pretty much. Methods is tough but scales up generously, many people struggled with methods this year in my class but if you understand it its not to hard.

Your better off doing trials in further class for further and just learn from your constant mistakes.. for your sacs, study for a full week(as in do trials for core or the module you will be sitting the sac for) and for the exam, during term 3 break till the exam do as many trials as possible including vcaa exams.. my advice would be do the vcaa exams 1 week before the actual exam/s so that you know around about where your score will be..
Btw, Further is a very easy subject but also easy to make a lot of mistakes.. thats why your better off doing a lot of trials for further as practice makes perfect :)

I hope i was able to help :D

Yeah, m.dogan advice is great.

Further is on the easier side but that also means that there is a lot more competition. Never underestimate it, cause you'll regret it when your nearing the exams like me >:(

Just make sure you get A LOT of practice for your end of year exam and SACs, so that you get used to the questions and formats cause VCAA really does do your head in with some of the questions. Use your time efficiently and make sure you don't underestimate further and start to slack. Overall, just try hard and you'll start to really enjoy Further as its pretty fun and not as challenging as Methods. I wish you the best of luck for the year :D
