Structure of Further Maths Assessment

OK, so we do 3 modules and the core. There are 2 exams at the end of the year. 1st MC, 2nd Extended Answer/Short Q's. Are the Sacs we do on the modules we study and the core?

SACs depend on the school, I believe.

Most schools may adopt a particular format, so maybe that's what other people may post about here, but it really depends on your school. For example, in Methods, we had a quite unconventional SAC layout, with a mid-year SAC and an end of year SAC (2 SACs altogether!)

Ok well as coblin said SACs depend on the school... but normally most if not all SACs will have a similar structure as the exams... some SACs will have multiple choice questions and others will have short answer/analysis questions(most likely for the CORE) or both lol.. Hope that answers your question =)

For my school our module SACs consisted of both multiple choice questions and short answer questions, and the CORE was all analysis type questions (some schools will divide the CORE into 3 seperate SACs, whilst others may choose to have 1 massive SAC; like mine did).

You will normally get one SAC for each module, and possibly 3 SACs for the CORE or 1(as i mentioned above)
Hope that helps =)

Lol I must warn you, the multiple choice exam is the one you will most likely make numerous silly mistakes on, so be careful =)
