insight or neap text guides

Starting year 12 next year and I would like to know which company provides better text guides and context guides. Prices are pretty much similar so i'm unsure!

neap is a lot better. they provide better ideas towards the text unlike insight which are all obvious and generic. also the prompts given by neap are a lot more challenging.

I have (for Ransom and Richard III only though), NEAP was more comprehensive and had more focus on some of the 'unobvious' (don't know the right word for it) things in the texts.

I wouldn't get Context guides though, they are fairly useless imo.

they don't release these text guides by the years. in fact you could get them now (unless you're doing a new text that vcaa recently introduced then i'm not sure) if you wanted to, they don't change.

and yes, i agree the context guides are pretty useless, especially if you plan on writing creative pieces. context is more your own knowledge than what these text guides feed you.
