Subjects VCE Year 12 next year

This year I already done two  Unit 3 and 4 subjects.
Next Year I am planning to do:
- English Unit 3 and 4
- Maths Methods Unit 3 and 4
- Chemistry Unit 3 and 4
I don't know what I should choose for the fourth subject.
Its either between Economics Unit 3 and 4 or Maths Specialist Unit 3 and 4.
Which one is more beneficial for me in the long-term. I'm really good at Economics . However, I want spend more time devoting to maths, since I haven't given my best efforts this year.

Economics. Always go with the subject that you are really good at enjoy. It will be much easier for you to score highly in subjects you enjoy.

It also depends on what you want to do after school. If its something like engineering, specialist maths could possibly be better. It all depends on what your interests are.

Specialist maths will significantly help you for maths methods. I've personally met about 5 or 6 people who scored a 40+ in maths methods and all of them did specialist maths.
Since you're obviously a highly competent student (you accelerated 2 subjects?!), I think you would cope fine with specialist maths.
I also found specialist to be a lot more interesting than methods. In maths methods, half the class dreads maths and doesn't want to be there, whilst in specialist (or general maths advanced), people are interested, enthusiastic and happy to help.

Do Economics, Spesh is one of the most time consuming subjects out there, unless you're really good at pure conceptual work.
