Hey all,

Did anyone else receive the "Your Authcate Password will expire in 7 days" email?
I really do not want to/can't be bothered/I've already memorised my password/would hate to fix my remember me password settings, so is there anyway this can be bypassed?.

Nope. You have to reset it at the end of every semester, it's a real pain.
What's more is that it can't be similar to your last one, which with the whole capital letters + number bull they have going on means that you'll have to get creative. I started making my authcate passwords chemical compounds.

It actually can be similar. What I have done for the last 3 semesters was simply altering one character in my original password.
(History of my password: ' ' to '.' to '&' to '*')

Weird. I used 1337 speak and had a 1 for an I and a 5 for an S, and I tried just changing the 5 to an S and it rejected it as being too similar.
This was 2012 though, they may be less anal now.

Just noticed that my units for this semester on 'Enrolment Summary' in WES say 'completed', and the 'unofficial academic record' section is closed... seems from that that results will probably be released soon, maybe tomorrow or even @ midnight...

I just change my password to a new password, then change it back to the original one, it works lol

I don't think 'completed' means you passed cuz I'm pretty sure I failed a unit and it says completed on my enrolment summary.
