Yeah, that's been going for a while. There going to replace it with a jazz club - and the university is supposedly using the loss of lecture theatres to try and push less lectures across the board. But, they expect teaching quality (and presumably content quantity) to be the same, which is really not possible as is for a lot of the units I'm involved in. :/

Yeah, Monash's academic, staff and capital works plans over the next 5 years are extremely dire. I know the "corporate universities" line has become a bit of a meme but honestly, Monash recently barely even pretends any of the changes they're making to infrastructure or teaching policies are in the interests of anything but their bottom line. Very greedy stuff.

Hey, so it'll be going to Design in early January once I'm finished compiling our submissions, and the printers a few weeks later. Hard copies will be available from the MSA stall during O Week, and depending on when the MSA website is finished, a soft copy will be on the website roughly around there as well. We'll send out links to everyone on the MSA mailing list, so hopefully you'll get it before Sem 1 starts and you'll be able to use it to help with changes to your unit enrolment

 The website says they come out in "early December after ATAR results have been released". So they should come out any time now I suppose. I'm somewhat sad because my WAM is 0.4 lower than the HD required to be eligible for scholarships that require an 80+ WAM.

so unlucky hopefully there is something for 70-79 WAMs, anways always good to have motivation/create motivation for next year.

April the next, if you pay Monash >$200 by mid Jan. I think internationals have more sessions, though?

how is everyones timetables looking, around ~60% of mine is already auto allocated and the rest are preferences. If I get all my 1st prefs I can finally get a day off+ one other day is only 1 lecture  .  other three days are packed
