Any tips on studying first year bus law guys? Also maybe structures/processes/materials if possible!
Thanks!
Look it's hard for me to give advice because my study-routine and work ethic during the semester is far from desirable and at times non-existent, however I can give a few generalised pointers:
Structures is (I suppppoooseee subjectively) a reasonably easy unit. If you half-heatedly follow the content throughout the semester and then smash out practice exams you should be able to get a pretty good mark. Alternatively, if you do all the tutorial/practice class questions and study efficiently and effectively I see no reason why one couldn't absolutely boss this unit. I believe Lizi Sironic takes the unit in second semester and in my opinion she is a really good, engaging, lecturer and is (through my observation) more than happy to help with any questions you may have.
Materials also isn't all that hard although the content can be quite dry and not all that engaging. If you follow the lecture notes and put a bit of effort into the lab report/assignments and learn that content thoroughly whilst doing them this should put you in good stead come exams. Once again, smashing out practice exams in SWOTVAC/exam period will more than likely be vital in attaining a good score. If you find yourself hating the unit during the first few weeks try not to give up as around week 6-8 (I can't quite recall) a new lecturer comes in and the content changes a bit.
I didn't do process systems so cannot comment.
*Note that I did the units in semester 1, 2012, so some things may have changed since then.
