Does anyone know how set in stone the current 2015 timetable is? Because if my timetable next year is anything like MUTTS predicts, I might actually cry for completely stupid reasons...

To all first years who got an interview for the Ancora Imparo program, how did yours go? The interview process must be finished by now so I think we can talk about it.

Also to those that got in the program, can you tell us more about it?

I hope your enrollment process is going great and that the last two weeks are not too stressful for you. :)

Mine went pretty well - I was really happy with the questions they asked me :D Like they were right up my alley.

I just got my acceptance letter so i'm really happy :D

Thank you and you too! Can't wait to meet you! And no, I wasn't. I was the one who came late Friday 10:30. Apparently I was the fifth candidate that day.

I didn't even know timetables were out?

That said, if its published, i wouldnt anticipate huge changes honestly. This is a major uni, not some amateur operation, they put a lot of planning into things. Keep in mind it will also depend on your preferences etc.

Daily crisis update:

Finally 100% decided I don't want to do a GEN major at all under any circumstances. Also decided that I'm 100% certain I want to do a DEV major because it's one of the two areas I want to do Honours in. 100% sure I want to replace GEN with a psych major for interest and GPA purposes as I'm becoming more and more interested on trying to get into grad med.

Also 100% sure I can't afford to pay ~$4000 for a full-fee unit to complete the DEV major, so I'm going to have to battle with the university to get them to cancel credit for one of the place-filler first year units I did. The Faculty's reasoning for not letting me cancel credit for that unit is pretty poor so I'm hoping I can negotiate around that. I can't find any mention of what they're talking about in any open-access Monash or Faculty policy or statutes.

I've emailed the MSA student rights office to see what they can do/say as well as my DEV coordinators and tutors who I hope can put in a good word for my keenness for dev bio.

NOTHING IS EVER EASY ffs

Yeah - MUTTS is open for 2015, was released the same day as enrolments opened.

The clashes I'm talking about are things which I have no control over - one lecture stream for both units, and one of the units has only one workshop I could sort into. The only thing my preferences could do is make the clashes even worse...

Has anyone done the CHM1022 IDEA experiment and know how to do the calculations for the concentration using spectrophotometer?

Prepared standard solutions of 0.50 Cu(NO3)2 and 0.10M Ni(NO3)2 are used.
Standard, concentration and wavelength of maximum absorption are given.
Standard: Cu(NO3)2  Concentration:0.50M  Wavelength of max. absorption: 810nm
Standard: Ni(NO3)2   Concentration: 0.10M Wavelength of max. absorption: 395nm

Determine the approx. concentration of the metal and the concentration of the standard solutions to make the standard curve.

Does anyone know how to tackle this question? I've worked out the concentration using C1V1=C2V2, but don't know what to do next

I think it's because they've been cleared for re-enrollments, if you mean on the first page?

The units you're currently doing should still be on your academic record, though.
