Hang onto that. After I had coffee for the first time, hot chocolate lost all taste. :'(
Someone, without my asking, made me a coffee with chocolate powder on top a week ago and the whole time I was drinking it I was trying to figure out whether it was coffee or hot chocolate  :o. Apparently I can't distinguish between the two anymore.

I actually really, really hate that I'm turning into one of those people who're all like "oh, can't start muh day until I've had muh coffee!!!1!" but I legit can't function if I don't have at least two coffees before noon. It's disgusting.

This is why I don't drink coffee. Water is nature's energy drink. I wouldn't be dead on 3 hours sleep so long as I had my water bottle ~~. Hydration has to be worth 4 hours

We're doing the same course and I haven't heard/met a "chase" yet haha. I guess law is just too big! Were you at booze cruise?

Law is supposed to be one of the smallest faculties :P I've only ever met one other 'chase' in my life (outside of the US, where the name is common) so there's a chance I'm the only one in the whole faculty with that name. I didn't go on the booze cruise, Friday night is chicken soup night at home and I hate missing it :P

Law is supposed to be one of the smallest faculties

Yeah, but in terms of actual degrees, it's pretty fucking big...

Why are we talking about coffee when what we should be discussing is beer o'clock all day every Thursday.

Haha no allergies, just never had an interest in it. I'm still a baby who orders hot chocolate.

There's nothing childish about a warm and toasty hot chocolate.
I uh... I may or may not drink about three a day, ha ha.

If you like sweet things, give a chai latte or a cappuccino a try if you fancy branching out.

hey,

I was originally planning on doing doubling my global studies degree with commerce but after undertaking mth1010 I've decided I absolutely hate maths and will 100% fail and will probably withdraw pretty soon before withdrawn goes on my record (not sure why this is bad but apparently it is). As I really want to do a double degree, am I able to somehow transfer into a Bachelor of laws/arts after my first year with 3 units in the first semester and 4 in the second? The only reason I'm doing a global studies degree is so I can go on exchange and I'm able to do exactly the same units pretty much with arts and I also like law. So is this a hard feat to accomplish or do I just need to get like 80/100 in 3/3 and 4/4 units for the next 2 semesters?

tah.

I'm pretty sure there's a minumum amount of credit points required for a transfer to be possible, most likely 48. Have a look at the requirements for transfers to the law faculty- it'll tell you.

If you're gonna drop the unit, your options for making up the required credit points are to either beg another subject coordinator to let you into their course, do a winter unit, or overload in sem 2 and do 5 units (but risk making your average lower)
2010: History Revolutions 35
2011: English 3/4, Accounting 3/4, Economics 3/4, Mathematical Methods 3/4, International Studies 3/4.

As I really want to do a double degree

Why, though? Not to condemn the double degree system (as I know a lot of times where it's worked extremely well for people), but there's not really a lot of point of doing a double degree for the sake of doing a double degree. Why do you want to study law? What do you plan to do at the end? By choosing to add law to your degree, you're extending your degree by up to another 2 years (and since you're transfering, this will probably turn into an extra 3 years). Not to mention, this will add even more money to your HECS debt.

I'm not trying to say you're wrong for wanting to do a double degree, so sorry if I've implied that at all. However, if you just want to do a double for the sake of doing a double, maybe you should think about it a little deeper? Maybe a single degree would suit you better.
