Hey all, I have a history assignment which is due today and that I haven't really made a start on and so I think I can get the assignment done today but maybe later on in the evening like 8 or 9pm. Also, I have to drop off the assignment in the assignment submission draw in the Menzies building. Having said that, I have a odd or silly question to ask. Is there opening and closing hours for accessing the Menzies building? If so please let me know so that I can submit my assignment on time without being penalised. Cheers!

If it's due today in hard copy, it's probably due around 5 or so. (Don't know about Menzies opening or closing hours though, sorry.)

You used to need to have your ID card validated or whatever at the Security and traffic office so that the boom gates open for you, but from last year onwards you dont need to do that, but like KP said, if it doesnt seem to work you should go get them to do it.

I've been told/I find that the trick is to make sure you do it at the same time, or at least within like 2 secs of each other. Otherwise you're screwed. The gate on the left is for small cars, the right for bigger ones.

My friends and I were always on point with this, but then I got a new carpool partner and he sucks balls. Except I think security is always watching carpool coz they've always automatically opened up the gates for me, without me even pressing the button.

I've tried searching around online but can't get it to work. Does anyone know how to set up monash gmail you can send/receive emails from your email client on mac/iPhone? both are the normal pre-installed 'mail.app' client on my devices.

I have email forwarding set up but I'm sick of accidentally replying automatically and then sending emails from my personal address to lecturers etc.  >:(

I followed something similar to this to set it up so you can give it a shot https://www.adelaide.edu.au/technology/selfhelp/docs/diy-osx-mail-gmail-connect.pdf
Make sure you have IMAP enabled on your monash email too ... it's somewhere in the settings. If you google how to enable IMAP on gmail it'll probably give you a step-by-step process
