5th and 7th for me. I'm annoyed they're both in the first week but, on the other hand, I have just over a month of holidays, so that's nice. ::)

How is everyone's exam timetable, mine is relatively nice.
8th, 12th, 14th and 19th
Practice exams for 1031 are really similar to the final exam so make sure you do all of them religiously!!

So very gross. What do you plan to do on those two days? Revise? Just chill?

anyone here do FIT1045 and have insights or tips for the final exam?
i feel like this subject was extremely poorly taught, esp. for people with literally 0 programming experience, and unfortunately, around 80% of people who i've asked agree that the subject "can't be done well" without a lot of prior knowledge :/
maybe im just overthinking as a jaffy, but i've poured a lot of effort into this unit and so have my friends and we still struggle heavily -__- whereas all my other units are so much more..straightforward? :p

how is everyone's exam revision going and other assessments?  :)
I was pretty busy with assessments the past few weeks but it has finally let off a bit (only got 1 major piece of work left (10%))
Now mainly finishing up on the content.

Relatively well, I think.

I had my last assessment due this Wednesday, but I've been good with planning and finished it quite early so I've had time to schedule in exam revision. At the moment I'm just writing up notes and planning to make flashcards sometime this week to help with memorisation. Definitely planning to write a couple of practise pieces during SWOTVAC since my exams are in the first week exams are being held.

It's hard to be doing exam revision when you have 24 contact hours  :'( :'(

Only got one major assignment for thermal left, one more algebra assignment and a couple of assessed tutes and comp labs for next week, but that's all. I got my first exam on the 5th so already started revision for that as well. I honestly feel that this semester has been easier than last year was, surprisingly. This semester seemed to fly by as well.

Yeah that unit was pretty terrible. I think its only the second year they have run it this way. I feel the way they structured everything made it actually feel like you were doing two separate units, programming and then algorithms. Most of the people I did it with who had prior programming experience seemed to think it was the easiest unit ever, while the others who basically had none struggled a lot, as you say. That unit stopped me from doing any further programming/comp sci units at uni. I honestly can't remember much from the exam though, sorry.

I've got 25 contact hours including my one clash, so I know your pain, Sine. Things could be worse though. I believe my friend has an even crazier amount of hours (chem major and their labs take up a lot of hours).

My timetable is also spread out so I have huge breaks - I don't mind though ahah

Nope. Both of us are doing the standard 4 units. I'm currently going back to do my chemistry minor, which is 8 contact hours (4 hrs lab, 1 hr tute and 3 hrs lectures) and I don't learn well without actually attending the lectures. Each of my other units are 5 or 6 hours, so I have a total of 25 hours. My friend on the other hand has, I think, 2 chemistry units and 2 science units, so that's why it's a lot.
