The weirdness and unpredictability of music performance is over.

Is anyone continuing music at uni or otherwise?  :)

I did Lmus as well as VCE music performance in last year on the piano. It was hectic, but I was lucky that one of my pieces overlapped...I'm just glad that the end of year written exam was much easier.
the performance aspect was so stressful, I had nightmares about it in the weeks leading up to it :'(
I had to have like three rehearsals on the exam venue pianos, had to learn to adjust all of them, record myself playing in those rooms and adjust the piano lids accordingly. If I hadn't been practising and playing at an Lmus level and competing at the eisteddfods, I doubt I wouldn't have gotten what I did get...but all the performance opportunities paid off in the end :D *relief*

Last year I studied Contemporary Guitar :)
Very very stressful year, and unfortunately only got 33 as a S.S. But overall, it was awesome to study!

Hello!

Last year I did percussion. Basically we had to play 5 pieces, 2 accompanied and 2 unaccompanied, and at least 1 piece from each of these 4 categories: drumkit, solo snare, timpani and mallets.
Tech SACs were doable.
The repertoire was pretty intense but finding the time and the instruments to practice on were the hardest parts.

Our school gave indicative marks so not sure about SACs, but I do remember I got A+ on the prac exam which I was blown away by, but not gonna complain!
