VCE unit 3&4 HHD or Biology?

Im in yr 11 doing HHD, after a term all students are given the opportunity to change a class if they want to. Im kinda confused. I am doin HHD at the moment but I've heard it drops alot, and I dont want that happening to me. Can you guys please give some advice??

in my opinion (though I haven't done bio), it is probably easier to score in the 40s in health than bio, simply because everyone who does bio is a lot more competitive in the vce than those who do health. Just my opinion tho
Lots of my genius friends did bio as a 3/4 and got in the 30s after working really reaallllllllly hard for it and having A+ sacs... I guess it does depend on your school too though.
I don't know how much it drops if you score 40 (check atar calc) but my 44 dropped to 41.8 ... so it will be a considerable amount. I guess it also depends on your learning style and how much you are willing to work.

If you enjoy HHD you shouldn't worry about scaling. A 40 scales down to a 37 I think. Only a perfect score will be sufficient to enable no scaling down. The subject is easier than most subjects so getting a 50 in the subject is very possible. Biology has pretty much no scaling so you can change to Biology if you enjoy it. You probably have to do a lot of reading to catch up if you,re skipping a 1/2 unit. Subject choices can help you choose because if you're doing Chemistry they compliment each other on certain topics. Keep in mind that the Biology 3/4 has a mid year exam in under 2 months so you need to put A LOT of work in if you want a competitive score. You would be a couple months behind a majority of the state Biology classes so pulling this off could be extremely risky.

Guys thank you so much, I think I might as well just stick witch health and try my best to get a 50...I really need one thats why I was wondering if its difficult? Are the exams really easy?

I had a look at an exam and in my opinion it looks quite easy. All of the questions are straightforward so you'll have to work on minimizing small mistakes. The exam is relatively easy and would be so for many others. For this exam I think you have to aim for perfection or pretty close to it.

Most ppl say that the health exam is one of the most enjoyable exams they have taken.... If they are prepared. I was actually really happy when i was doing mine
Dont overwork yourself thinking about next year though focus on this year!
