Hello. I'll also be doing Further 3&4 next year, but as a Year 11 student. :x


I'm pretty good at Maths but I feel more at home with Methods (I did 1&2 this year) and I get extremely nervous about tests! Aiming for a score of 40+ though.

Yea! Yr 11 bubdies doing Further. I'm doing the same thing as you too, (Methods 1&2 in 2011, Further 3&4 in 2012, then Methods 3&4 in 2013!!)

Haha! Good to see someone else in a similar boat to me. :D


I get my textbook in mid January, so I can't really start the course early. :/ Our teacher just scanned and uploaded the pages we needed for headstart onto our school's eLearning site.


I probably wouldn't want to start early anyway. I have a SAC on the first day of school on the content we covered in headstart and by the time I get my textbook, I would want to just concentrate on revising the stuff we covered, instead of potentially confusing myself studying another area. I also do far better when something is taught to me, rather than teaching myself.
