Personally, I got a secondhand copy of the TSFX notes - i read these thoroughly as these provided greater insight to the course than any of the textbooks and as they were secondhand they had invaluable notes and "exception to the rules" listed.
To revise, i pretty much did the entire checkpoints and then as many practice exams (VCAA and external companies) as possible.
A+ notes do provide concise notes, however I also had a copy of jacaranda cue cards - these were far more effiecient and provided better explanations that were equally as concise. While some students I know didn't like checkpoints, I found it gave me exposure to a wide variety of questions and it's repititive nature while draining at times, was very worthwhile.
