Access Melbourne?

If I met all the requirements of SEAS, (financially disadvantages) and gained passed the need ATAR of 78 (I got 78.25), when will I find out if i gained a Access Melbourne place? Is it guaranteed? Thanks!

Check if you've got an email from Melbourne Uni. If you've meet the criteria you are guaranteed a place.

I haven't received an email from them? I heard a rumour, lol, that they would email monday? Should I be worried?

I got an email today, I dont think they'll wait till monday since the application date ends at 21 i believe.

Hmm seems odd, most received emails yesterday (including myself). But you should definitively contact them to see whether or not you are eligible.

VTAC records show you have applied for admission to the University as part of the Access Melbourne program and may now qualify for a guaranteed place in the undergraduate course of your choice.

If YOU

completed Year 12 in Australia in 2011,
qualify for entry to the Access Melbourne program under categories for
rural and isolated applicants and/or
a disadvantaged financial background and
satisfy all the relevant course prerequisites
THEN

An ATAR of 78 and above will secure you a place in Arts, Environments or Science;
An ATAR of 88 and above a place in Commerce, and
An ATAR of 92 and above a place in Biomedicine.

I believe I satisfy all the relevant prerequisites. I feel really stressed now.

Cuddlekins said they received that email a few days after the star release. I think I should be okay? I don't know.

Thank you so much you've put my mind at rest! I think once I get that confirming email it'll be all good! So glad that we get to find out before everyone! I can believe it's so easily guaranteed as well.

Also, how are you finding it this year?
