Just wondering if we are allowed to attach an exercise to our text book, as in bind it to our text book to take into the exam?

You can take in anything thats completely bound or attached
they just shake your book and anything thats loose and falls out gets confiscated

Apparently you can't take any of those lecture pads that have perforated pages (ie. pages that have those dotted lines on the left-hand side of the page so that it is more convenient for you to rip out the page).

Your welcome.  Does that clear it up for you?  Or are the instructions still a bit ambiguous to you?

Hmm kind of...but on the VCAA site, it said the bound reference "must have a single horizontal or vertical spine", but if you binded an excericise book to your text book, wouldnt that count as two spines?

just type up all your notes, put in any examples and if you want hand written examples scan them in, take it to officeworks or similar and they bind it for you.
