Spesh course question

Quick question here, is the topic of sequences and series even needed in specialist maths? I was looking through some past exams and cant find any questions on it. Also are there any topics that you know of that arnt necessary in spesh? thanks

no it isnt, it hasn't come up inages
while people speculate that it oculd, i couldnt remmeber a thing about it going into the exam, and i wa sfine :P

IIRC it was only unit 1/2 stuff.

I havn't done 1/2 but it is in the Essential Specialist book in the toolbox chapter

They dedicated a whole chapter to sequences and series in 1&2. I believe in the 3&4 book, there's only 1 exercise
