Yeah I have the same problem :P I need to gain the pounds fast! In saying that, however, I don't want to go out and buy these "bulk on" products....unless some one with knowledge in this field recommends it.

Eat more...? Mass gainers are just whey with sugar
It's really not that hard to quantify..., but I believe that being raped once is not as bad as being raped five times, even if the one rape was by a gang of people.

Hey guys,

So i'm about 6 ft. and weigh ~55kg which is pretty small. Now I eat quite a bit and exercise moderately, and yet I remain underweight.

Any suggestions?  :D
Try to eat over maintenance. You definately need to bump your calorie surplus between 500-700, lets say if your basal metabolic rate is 3300 for someone being that tall and thin. You may be needing to eat between 3800-4000 calories to gain weight.

Some others might say 250 calories to a 500 bump up.

Fat gains, water gains, and glycogen gains will occur. I assume your priority is to build muscle mass, correct? that will come after it, but please be sure to implement a strength or an resistance program to build muscles mass. Sitting on your ass all day eating over your basal metabolic rate and not doing strength training (free weights) will  only give you fat gains, and will not give you muscle gains.

I'm kinda in a similar situation here. It doesn't matter if I eat the house out of food for a month, or hardly have anything, I don't put on any weight either (or lose it). It's dam annoying. I'm around the same weight but a little bit shorter than the OP. Haven't found a solution for it yet either.

KFC IS HEALTHY FOR YOU. I NEVER GAIN WEIGHT.
‎"We divert our attention from disease and death as much as we can; and the slaughter-houses and indecencies without end on which our life is founded are huddled out of sight and never mentioned, so that the world we recognize officially in literature and in society is a poetic fiction far handsomer and cleaner and better than the world that really is."

I was like you and I also 'thought' I ate a lot. But I didn't. I could eat way more. At first it's a struggle, but then when you start eating more you get used to it and then eventually you find that you're always hungry if you don't eat your new, increased amount. I used to be 60kg, 1.78 but gained 10kg within about 2 months.

You probably have a fast metabolism, like myself.

You should probably invest in some protein supplements.

Although, I'm not as light as you, I still would say that eating a hell of a lot of "unhealthy" food (McDonalds, KFC, Hungry Jack etc.) on a regular basis won't help, I've tried...

yeah, maybe i'll eat more than I already do. And get a protein supplement. I do weight training every now and then, but I guess it would  be better if i did it consistently.
