U21 Diploma in Global issues?

Has anyone completed this concurrent diploma? Or is anyone looking to do it? You basically need HDs in your first year in order to be accepted since it is 'competitive' to get into. But what other factors decide if you get accepted or not, would volunteer work be a factor?
