Math extension @ MONASH 2012
(1/1)
Imsobored:
Kay. Really in a delimna now.
I applied for the extension programme last year, not expecting to get in. I was relatively interested in it buy probably not as crazy as some of my friends that applied as well.
Yesterday, I received an offer from monash for the math extension programme.
I'm not sure if I should do it as I guess the workload in year 12 would be alot and all
Taking the following subjects:
Eng Lang( which I have never taken before)
Specialist Math
Chemistry
Accounting
I did Methods and Chinese last year.
Not sure if I should accept the offer. It was kind of selfish of me I guess to Rob someone of the opportunity they really wanted but yeah:/
Got around 47 scaled for methods and 49/50 scaled for chinese. Pretty confident about subjects I'm doing this year. So I'm not sure where Uni math comes in and how it may actually benefit!:X
Please help
Thanks(:
KOM:
I did the enhancement program last year for maths and I found that it didn't interfere much with my 3/4 subjects which were
Eng Lang, Spesh, Chem and Biology
With your methods score, I'm pretty sure you'll make 80+ even 90+ easily because I pretty much crammed and managed to get 90/100
Give it a shot, you can go for a month then drop out if you don't like it with no consequences.
Good luck!
