can someone pls explain to me, how to do the last question (9 c) on the tsfx 2009
exam in english! they have the most retarded working out.
im fine with the K+ bit. just the ppm bit is confusing.
is that bit of the answers correct?

ppm = g/10^6 g
soo basically they got the mass of K+ ions and thats in 25L
25L = 25,000 mL
1mL = 1g
soo thats the mass of K+ ions in 25,000 g
since ppm is 10^6 g
how many times does 25,000 go into 10^6 g
thats 40

soo u times the mass of K+ ions by 40
to get the mass per 10^6 g
which is ppm

umm in regards to C iii question 1 for the tsfx paper
maybe im tired and cant think or something but doesnt the use of the phenolphthalein indicator result in an underestimation as the colour would change too early

and i got 123% for cii however i looked at the answer it said 126
but then i put their last line of calculation in calculator and i get my answer

is the standards of tsfx chemistry papers like way higher of VCAA exams ? if it is then i dont feel as depressed lols, after i did that exam i didnt feel like doing another one lols

and for the combustion of biodiesel how come the molecular formula for the biodiesel contradicts with the formula of that was produced in the question before that unless what we are 'combusting' is the fatty acid
