Same, checked the mail today and nothing :( So do we get enrolment papers in the mail (I thought enrolment was done online? :-\) or do we just get that Academic Advice Day brochure/info?

and do you guys have any idea what I should do if I applied for a TFN, but it just hasn't arrived yet?

Enrollment is done online, once you accept your offer they'll send a brochure or something in the mail. I think it's just general information - the real stuff is on Academic Advice day.

Ohh cool cool :) Nice to know people are in the same boat!

and do you guys have any idea what I should do if I applied for a TFN, but it just hasn't arrived yet?

From the uni:
Note: as TFNs are usually provided within 28 days of application, it is essential that you apply early to ensure you have your TFN on or before the census date. If you are applying for a TFN for the purpose of obtaining a HECS-HELP loan and it is within one month before the relevant census date, you should request the Tax Office to issue you a Certificate of application for a TFN. If you haven't received your TFN within 10 days before the census date, you should provide this certificate to your provider as proof that you have applied, and then quote your TFN once you receive a Tax file number advice from the Tax Office.

So since it hasn't arrived yet, you need to get that "Certificate of application for a TFN" from the tax office and provide it to the university so they know you have applied for one and will soon be receiving it.

https://sis.unimelb.edu.au/enrolinanewcourse.html

scroll down and complete
Step 1: activate your account
Step 2: enrol in your course (aka, accept your damn offer! i think they expire 30th Jan so be diligent :) )

Step 2 is a checklist, but you dont need to select subjects yet. (How could you anyways? you need academic advice!)

If your offer status is "Offer Accepted", then that's it! that's all that you need to do before Academic Advice Day
after AAD you do your study plan (enrol in subjects)

The email which you should have received yesterday from Melbourne has your student number (6 digits) which you need to complete your online enrollment (as Raahem pointed out). After you complete all the steps and get to subject selection, stop and wait until Academic advice day which is on the 23rd. Your scheduled time is in the letter from VTAC.
