Which do I choose? Subject dilemma

No VCE Physics
PHYC10007 Physics for Biomedicine
Completed VCE Physics
PHYC10006 Physics 2: Life Sciences & Environment

I did VCE Physics but it was easily my worst subject; eg. in the exam I guessed just about every electronics question, etc. etc. etc. Furthermore if you read my posts in Physics I look so confused lol.

Am I still able to choose PHYS10007 Physics for Biomedicine?

If I choose PHYC10006 Physics 2: Life Sciences & Environment I am worried that I might not do well given that I remember just about nothing with regard to VCE Physics except for motion with constant acceleration and a bit of light/matter.

Are you planning to go to the Academic Advice Day on Monday?

Because it says...

You are required to complete all of the administrative steps of the enrolment process, but not ‘Enrol into subjects’ before attending Academic Advice Day.

I guess you learn about subjects and all that during the Academic Advice Day. Then after that you'll enrol into subjects.

So in my opinion, go to the Academic Advice Day, ask everything you have to ask and then make your decisions.

Seriously you don't want to do physics for biomed. The subject is organised horribly, you're much better off doing physics 2 which had much better lecturers and more fair assessment from what I've heard. And unless you got less than 30 in VCE physics it'll be really hard to get into physics for biomed..

Got up to the selecting subjects staged and left it. I am not certain how I enter the details/find my major/minor codes and what electives I want. So, yeah, that is pending until after Academic Advice Day, methinks.

"Class registration opens at 10am on Monday 30 January, at which time you will be able to use the Student Portal to create your individual student timetable."

They clearly don't want you rushing in. There notices are in the student portal.

I don't think you are allowed to do physics for biomedicine. Even so, I think you will be fine in life sciences. You have until after mid year to change your mind though (if you can), so no use really thinking about it now.

I will be doing Physics for Biomedicine, does anyone know if this subject covers the physics component of the GAMSAT?

I think that physics for biomedicine was pretty much made to cover the gamsat physics anyway, so yes.

Not really, but it does a reasonable job of it. Physics for Biomedicine ain't that bad but I doubt you'll get in if you did physics in VCE

From the handbook, they're the letter/number codes (eg MIIM30001)

Sorry to hi-jack your thread but you seem to have had no trouble selecting the standard pathway, is this true?
