What do we need to have completed by Academic Advice Day?

Ok, I'm in the process of doing all the enrolment stuff online. I've finished everything on it up to the 'Enrolment Declaration', do I need to go any further by AAD?
Also, how do I begin to 'create' my studyplan? I'm pretty lost at the moment, lol.

you are DONE for AAD

the purpose for AAD is to learn about subjects, only after that do you enrol in subjects (your study plan)

you can access study plan via portal.unimelb.edu.au or perhaps in the above link too

So, I have to complete the 'Select Subjects' part? I have no idea what to do for that section... I can't select anything.

You can stop right now if ya like, otherwise keep reading for what to do now

First step to selecting subjects (what you're up to, again this is optional right now) is STREAM

there is:
General Stream
Actuarial Stream
Business Stream

Considering Majoring in Actuarial studies? you will choose actuarial stream. It will fill up your study plan with actuarial stuff
Considering Majoring in "Business" (ie, a general all rounded major) ? In 2014, it will facilitate your 3rd year study plan for this. For now, it will add your 1st year compulsory subjects ONLY

Considering any other major? finance, marketing, accounting whatever? Obviously just click General. It will fill up the 3 compulsory first year subjects only!!

HOW TO SELECT STREAMS AND SUBJECTS: referring to your screenshot, JUST CLICK SEARCH
then you will be able to pick one

it looks better than last years did actually. we had little buttons that said GO! after every step.
