Trouble logging in to enrol :(

So I activated my unimelb email and created a password for the gmail account thing and wanted to move on to step 2 - to enrol, but it keeps saying "login not successful, check your details" - I've put in the correct details each time but it keeps bringing up that error

Anyone having the same problem? What should I do?

Heyy thanks but I tried logging in even without the dot and it still says "login attempt was not successful" I've tried resetting my password too but it still doesn't work

I rang the UoM hotline and they said that its because everyone is trying to do the enrollment process at once so the servers are a bit on the fritz. Maybe try again later?

I was going to say try and reset your password, because I had the same  problem yesterday but resetting my password fixed it.

Maybe try calling them?

Try Firefox. This was happening to me using Safari, then I switched and it worked fine

I tried it on Firefox and Google Chrome but it doesn't seem to work and when I try to reset the password this comes up:

Password change failed: host_update failed



What do you guys think would be the best time to try? (when the servers aren't so busy)??

It's likely to just be server traffic then. Just wait a few hours - maybe try again at like, 9pm or something.

Oookay soo I called 13MELB and the guy was like (and I quote) "due to system maintenance, you can't complete online enrolment this evening. The system will become fully operational tomorrow, the 19th January" - so pheww, guess it wasn't my fault after all and thanks for the help guys!

Yeah, likely to be due to the amount of people trying to do it at once, if you want to avoid this and do the enrolment process quickly, i suggest you get up at 7am, that's what i did for ordering my preferences on myinfo when it was crazy busy, but it worked fine then! haha

i have the exact same problem, so i called them and they said that there have been many calls regarding the same issue, so most likely its their fault, not yours

as a very very last resort you can go to the Student Centre and they will do it for you
