Nah it won't. The reason being, students can complete a degree at their own pace (within reason). You don't have to do four units a semester, you can just do one or two if you want. Obviously that slows down the speed at which you can complete your degree.

The best thing to do would be to download a course map for your degree and then try and plan the first couple of years out. Chances are you'll probably change things around a dozen times (I did), but it's great to have an idea of what you're looking at.
