So do first year students get ID cards from there on Monday? :O Or is this for students still going??

Also, for the first year students, assuming we get our student IDs that day, can we also get our concession cards?

ReganM, when I started at UoM there was an ID/Concession card thing at Wilson Hall that I went to to get all of my ID stuff but from memory, it wasn't on AAD...it was a couple of days later.

I really need a new ID card so my bank doesn't cancel my student account but I don't want to pay for it!  When I started my new degree they told me I didn't need a new card yet because mine was still valid from Arts but it says I graduate next year, so I want to update it so my bank believes me omg.  I REFUSE TO PAY FOR MY CARD BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO LAZY TO MAKE ME A NEW ID CARD WHEN I WAS A COMMENCING STUDENT.  The epsc make me so angry.

Uhh, ok. So if I haven't enrolled in any subjects I shouldn't bother getting a card?

Yes.

Concession forms are usually sent by mail during O-week

They check on the computer to see if you've completed all the enrolment steps including enrolling in at least one subject.

Depends on the system.  In 2010, I was told give the system a couple of days but because I went and saw a course advisor and he put my subjects through that morning on the system and then I was able to get my ID card.
