I was looking through Melbourne's transition/orientation programs, and came across this http://cms.unimelb.edu.au/studentservices/transition/orient/destinationmelbourne

Unfortunately I can't make it to the actual camp :(, but I was wondering, does anyone know anything about the below event? Is it worthwhile? Or would I be better off only attending Orientation week? and Thanks in advance guys!!  ;D

Get a head start on Orientation at DM2, a mix of social activities and transition workshops which introduce you to the academic skills you'll need in semester 1. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet other new students from the same faculty as you, so you'll have some familiar faces during Orientation. You will be guided by Peer Advisers; later-year students in an excellent position to help you make a great start at uni – they’ve done it already.
