3/4 2012 Role Call!

So I saw a few other subjects were making roll calls so I figure Media should have one as well!

Here are some questions I though we could have to start off :)

What films are you studying for Narrative?
Are you excited/nervous/apprehensive for the SAT?
Do you know what sort of medium you want your SAT to be? (film, animation, print etc)
What sort of score are you aiming for?
Is Media your favourite subject?


I'll answer them to start off:

I'm doing Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind for narrative. We haven't been told our second film yet!

I'm very excited but extremely nervous about the SAT! It seems like it will be a lot of hard but fun work.

I'm planning on making a print magazine for my SAT. Apparently I'm the first person in years not to do a film so that should be interesting!

Aiming for a score of 40+ I think at this point in time.

and Media is definitely my favourite subject!  :D

We're doing 'Moulin Rouge' and 'The Pursuit of Happyness' for Narrative.

Very excited, I'm an English focussed student, but I'm looking forward to being able to express myself in a different way.

I'm thinking Print media, won't reveal more!

41-44 is my realistic aim due to scaling.

It's up there with my favourite. Probably alongside Literature.

Surprisingly, I'm doing Rear Window and Psycho, didn't expect two Hitchcock films, I wish we had Memento for one of them, thought that would be great to write about but, hey, no complaints here.

Can't wait, been doing Media for my 4th year in a row and I just can't get enough of it. Looking forward to the SAT.
Film seems most likely, I'm an avid short film maker and since I started working with Final Cut, I just can't wait to get my hands on it. When I got the applause from the class on my short film from last year, I realised it's what I wanted to do for this year.
Mid 40's, I'll be over the moon.

Dude we're doing Vertigo and studied Psycho last year. What's with these teachers and there unnatural hard-ons for Hitchcock? Ahahaha XD
