I just graduated from VCE, and my mum wants me to visit my grandma in ameria for arounf 10 days. Between what does could I go?

i'm looking at this:
http://www.unimelb.edu.au/unisec/PDates/acadcale.html

page and it looks so confusing.

What is the summer term stuff?

I was thinking of going from 6th Feb-18th Feb. Would I miss anything if I did?
Graduated in 2011.

Bachelor of Science at Melbourne. Biological Science subjects.

Some subjects can be done over the summer, mainly for students who want to get ahead
or those who have failed.

Uni returns on the 27th of Feb for semester one. That's when
everyone gets back.

Of course, you would miss lectures and tutes but there's always lectopia.
Best to go to all the tutes, sometimes they use it to let you pass the subject
even if your score happened to be under the pass mark.
