Year 12 Class of 2013, REPORT HERE!

reality is plc gives off an "impression" that we're like amazing and whatnot..
but seriously the standards have gone down so much..
so many girls in my yr level were like ...oh yeah anything from 25-35 is great for a study score/!

well .. similar to macrob. some of our teachers are super amazing, but some teachers, like my psych teacher this year was so bad, she never turned up and she didnt know how to teach, she wasnt here the day before the sac and we had no idea on what the sac was about .

But because of students , they make you really motivated.

Does going to a good school really make that much of a difference? I always thought it was upto the student. Like you could go to any school and get 99+, you just have to be determined. what do you guys reckon?:/

In some ways it does , some ways it doesnt. As i said , the students make me work harder and its highly competitive.
But the bad thing is that there are countless cases at school , where people have completely changed their personalities , from being bubbly and happy to being antisocial and not talking to anyone , during year 12.

She's doing IB though and she's a hard worker so maybe that's why I get that impression ^_^

in my school, the record for bio was 45, and i got 47. a friend of mine did bio at MHS a couple years ago and got a 44. school doesnt make as much a difference as people think. (by the way, i never went to MHS. i got in, but decided not to go because i was happy where i was).

and @ teletubbies 95, i know what u mean about publishing your results. that was also partly the reason i didnt publish mine. i looked at the suggested solutions to the mid year exam made by connect education and was sure that i got the lowest A+ possible, and decided not to get a SoM to prevent severe depression. i thought i was gonna get 38-41, so decided not to publish it.

hahaha thanks! but i dont really deserve praise! i did psych also, but i got a 38 cause i stopped studying in march hahahah epic fail! ur scores are way better considering! hahaha i hated my psych teacher also.
its not in my sig cause i really didnt think i was even going to get a 30 lol!!! although... i may put it in now haha

Well my school isn't ranked high and it seems like we've improved a fair bit since the last few years. More and more 40+ are beginning to appear which is good.

But to be honest, AN serves as a great motivator, I'm almost certain you guys would agree.

my teacher hated me cause i was indian... so gave me Bs and Cs on sacs without real justification. i realised that no matter how hard i tried i couldnt fix my rank, so i just gave up and started studying for bio only... its pretty depressing though, considering i got an A+ for both psych exams...
i got A+ B A+ for psych btw

@kesh: thats really good! atar notes is amazing. we should totally have a 2013 meetup after year 12 finishes ?!

@curry_bro: thats rascist. what our school does , is that they cross mark. they correct one page each from all the classes and then they recheck , so the scores we get are pretty accurate.
