We don't even start our year 11 exams until the 26th! My school kept pushing them back. Oh well, I guess it gives me more time to study :)

when do you finish school then? does your school do year 12 induction in year 11? I think that's why mine are early, induction goes for 2 weeks at my school, so for me to finish at the end of nov, exams have to be early.  :'(

Yeah we do, but we don't start until the 2nd of december, and our induction is only a week :(
That sucks, but good luck with your exams! :D

ONLY ONE?!  :'(
apparently we're having a SAC for English too during induction, I don't even get why their allowed to do that, my mind is not prepared for SAC's yet, let alone ones that have an effect on my ATAR.  :(

Some people do their oral presentations during this time. Uncommon but not unheard of.

Yeah, but I go to a pretty below average public school. Hopefully I can still manage decent marks though :)
I didn't even know they allowed that :o

I've managed to do some study for Unit 2 so that I don't walk into the exam completely clueless, but with Further as the priority, I haven't been overly thorough in my revision. :P

There's rumors going around that it's an oral presentation that goes for 15 mins, sounds a bit ridiculous seeing as we'll probably only have 5 English induction classes and won't get through everyone, but my legal teacher who also teaches English said that it's most likely an oral presentation. Probably on an issue.

I am so envious Stick, 40/40, what modules did you do?

I did modules 2, 3 and 4, although now I keep having these worrying thoughts about filling out the answer sheet incorrectly (I'm almost certain I did it right - I just cannot help having irrational thoughts).

My head start is also only one week (although there's an extra week for Specialist students) and we are starting with the issues oral. I doubt many schools would start presenting them during this time, but I guess you never know.

A 15 minute oral presentation is just excessive. In year 12 English it's only between 3 - 6 minutes I believe. I secured 95% on mine and it only went for 5:36. It's the quality of your speech, not how long you can regurgitate facts. It's understandable if a 15 minute oral is in the Philosophy or Literature study designs, but not English.

That's ridiculous, not to mention it would take like a week and half worth of classes just for everyone to present..

Exam 2 is over! NO MORE FURTHER!!! :D This exam, unlike exam 1, was at the right level - not too easy and not too difficult. I probably lost a few marks but still hoping I did well overall. :)
