You know when Tim Costello came to our school he said "Law doesn't always have much to do with justice."

Interesting premise.

I'm just speculating though. There's nothing wrong with law as a career path. That one line just happened to stick with me.

Hmmmm. Thats kind of true, yes. I guess I want to do law not for the generic-I want to help people because I want justice for all the innocents out there and all the others perpetrators should be jailed for life- but because when I speak and talk about a topic, I feel all powerful. I feel like I'm the only person that matters, i'm right and all my other thoughts go out the window. I like to argue, and when I do, I feel that noone can stop me. Its really weird, and I only realised it this year in the public speaking and debating contests...

Law was actually my aim at the beginning of this year. The original reason I began to try, in fact. Lucky I realised I wanted to be a teacher lol. Was also considering being a policeman or even a military cop - the law fascinates me but yes, I don't think justice and the law are synonymous. In some instances the law can be a suppressor of justice. Sort of why I don't take the law into much consideration and pay attention to my own sense of right and wrong.

Fuck Further.

lol, we're doing stem and leaf plots bro. Back to Back stem and leaf plots. And now we're revising the median, mean, mode. :D

Make sure you don't slack off. So many bright accelerated maths kids in my class didn't end up doing exceptionally well because of their attitude to Further.

Also, read my guide on how to keep a good bound reference throughout the year. :)

I don't even want to think of how many hours I spent putting together my bound reference!

I spent so long making my bound references for both Methods and Spesh. Ended up using it briefly for both subjects and I'm so glad I made them in the end. It speaks my language.

Already read it ages ago mate! :)

Yeah, as tedious as the work is at the moment, I am doing all the work and practicing more and more.. Not really to improve my skill as such, but speed because it would benefit me by giving extra time for the more difficult questions, which would lessen the stress a little.

You should be aiming higher than 42 for Further. Don't limit yourself. Trust me, if you learn what you got wrong well from the 2006-2012 VCAA exam papers, you can go from a C to an A+. If you aim higher to start off with->closer you'll be to the A+ to start. Srsly, I'll be close to 42. If I've come close to 42, you should beat it.

Edit: And I made a par-ish bound book for Core, then for Matrices, then for Networks (Networks was just the A+ Further Notes scanned and printed/pasted) and then I started using my girlfriend's old bound book (second to none) and got familiar with that and put the questions I got wrong and explanations on spare pages. It would seriously be worth making a bound book even if you weren't going to take it into the exam lol.

Well I'm doing a 3/4 in year 11, so even though I'm not doing year 12 just yet, I'm still going to say hi  :) and good luck to everyone for next year!

I'm fairly certain I've bolded and underlined the relevant phrase in my guide. :)
