Fuck Further.

lol, we're doing stem and leaf plots bro. Back to Back stem and leaf plots. And now we're revising the median, mean, mode. :D

Make sure you don't slack off. So many bright accelerated maths kids in my class didn't end up doing exceptionally well because of their attitude to Further.

Also, read my guide on how to keep a good bound reference throughout the year. :)

Already read it ages ago mate! :)

Hmm...

3 Whole days!!

EDIT: Would you put in VCAA exams into your bound reference.. If you had space. My bad if that's on the guide as well :D

ok guys, so some new topics to discuss!

-What english books are you doing next year?

Ok so I got my booklist for english today, looks like some of the books I listed have changed:
- Life of Galileo
- The Quiet American
- The Reluctant Fundamentalist
- The Rugmaker of Mazar-e-Sharif (we did this already for year 11, which is pretty good!)
- Twelve angry men

Why is there so many books? I'm guessing the first 2 and RMES are for context? :\

You should have 1-2 for context, 2 for text response, and nothing for language analysis.
Nevertheless, the more books the better the choices you have.

For The Reluctant Fundamentalist I have my own study pack that I am selling and some additional books. Please check it out in my sig. I am moving house and desperately need all my stuff gone soon. Thanks:)

How do I know which ones are my text response books and which ones are my context books? I've never even heard of the texts I'm studying. XD

I got the booklist but there're only two (are we supposed to have at least three?)
1) twelve angry men
2) growing up Asian in Australia

No that should be fine. Your 12 Angry Men should be your text response, and GUAIA is context. Your school might have a different style to giving out sacs (normally each school does it per book) and so there should be at least 2 text response sacs, 2 context sacs and 2 language analysis sacs (one of which that has an oral component). maybe you are studying other film texts that your school hasn't notified you about yet? i'm not entirely sure.

I don't even want to think of how many hours I spent putting together my bound reference!
I spent so long making my bound references for both Methods and Spesh. Ended up using it briefly for both subjects and I'm so glad I made them in the end. It speaks my language.

My thoughts exactly! I'll definitely be making ones next year for spesh and methods, even if I don't touch it in the end of year exams, because they are so helpful when I've forgotten concepts we learnt throughout the year! And its great for revision :)

I've finally finished my Unit 2 exams! I'm assuming most people either have completed or are near completion as well. To those who have begun headstart, how is that going for you? :)
