Hi Guys,
I am in year 11 next year, doing 3/4 Methods and 3/4 Further.
What do you think i should do in the holidays? (willing to work hard)
cheers
It's not important to finish the course in the holidays, but you can still make a start on it, for Methods.
But more importantly, you MUST focus on minimizing your careless mistakes under exam conditions, because in the end, if you're a top student, this is the only thing that can come in your way of getting really awesome marks.
Start with doing some basic questions as prep. over the holidays, and get as much exposure to exam questions as you can, throughout the year.
But IT IS year 11 next year, so don't burn yourself out for year 12 :)

I'm feeling more nervous by the day. I wonder how it's going to be next year, when I have 5 sujects, not 2. :/

I reckon you all are far too keen to do a lot of work during the summer holidays compared to us 2011 guys :P
(Pi might agree to this)
Just enjoy what the summer holiday has to offer and take a break until Christmas :)

Constant vigilance re: burnout. First semester I was so motivated I was like "YEAH Imma show erryone I'm not a dropkick and smash this stuff" et al and then Second Semester I was all like "IRC". Just gotta be smart about the way you work and listen to the advice we give you very literally. I'll bet any money people will make a burnout thread and everyone will say "enjoy yourself more, study less but in a different way, go out, start running" which is such a good solution, but will be ignored by the OP who will think in the back of their head "yeah, easy for them to say". But really, it's easy for them to do if they take our word as gospel. So do that.

And I'll make sure throughout Year 12 that I'll get these students involved in things. I need to take a greater responsibility over the bunch. :)
