Happy new year everybody!!!
I feel so bad; For english I've been set 3 essays, a set of ~10 long-ans questions and I needa read all my texts.. So far I've read the text that my questions is based on (and now I need to read it again because I'm still confused with a few things) and I've written an intro and half a body paragraph for one of my essays.. and that literally took me since last thursday..  D:
But I've finished most of my other subject's homework except for legal (which isn't very much)
Please tell me others are in a similar position!!  :-[

Don't worry, all I've done is Spesh and touched on Chem. Now that the new year has begun, it's time to get cracking. I'm just going to do a little bit each day really.

I know I'll have more than enough time to be prepared. I just don't want to get lazy! I had my break the first half, some will have it now :). It'll be fresher in my head if I did it now and that's why I chose to do so.

I have 3 essays to do for English as well... But the teacher set 250w each.. Doubt some students will manage that. I have to reread my context text as well :) And take notes this time..

Happy New Year everyone. :)

Happy New Year mate :)

yeah it's small as, but it was the one on the book list. It's basically just a summary , but there's some pretty good questions at the end of each chapter. I also brought making and breaking the law.

I've got MABL too, decent book, justice and outcomes is one of the best though I reckon.

I just realised, we do all the same subjects (i did business 1/2 last year and might be doing it this year too, so all the same haha!)

Really?? I LOVE english, but I think I'm just in holiday mode atm and I just cbs! I only changed to legal after orientation ended, so I missed out on that whole week :S So I needs catch up on everything we covered and I think it was up until the separation of powers.. plus glossary words and a heap of chapter questions!

it's just, i don't know, i have no motivation for the subject and any effort i put in is pointless since my marks stay the same.
yeah, we just went up until the separation of powers too.

Chill ax. Honestly.

Everyone is so hyped up when year 12 starts. Its not that important then. Its really crunch time in terms two and three when 3-4 sacs per week is the norm. Just get on top of all homework that very night, so that you aren't behind.

Just to put it into perspective, but everyone is super anxious about the coming year. You will see kids who have slacked off their whole schooling lives pull up their game. But don't be worried. Its only those that realise that Year 12 is a year-long process of efforts will do well.

Stop stressing. It will do you guys no good. I honestly feel weird that I don't start school soon. I feel like I belong there, but ah well.

You can do my year 12 for me if you want. I'll do the first year of your uni degree and get you that H1 average. Just get me into Bcom/BAeroEng and I'll be happy :)

Honestly, I think no matter how many people tell me to relax, there's always that little bit of anxiousness somewhere. I mean, family expectations aside (:P), it all comes down to this one year. That's a little daunting for me, but I'm confident nevertheless.

I'm not stressing that much. It's just that when everyone else is stressing, it gets to me and when it gets to me, I can't control my thinking.
Eh, I know it'll be fine. I just gotta work hard.

Deal.

Lol. I've never been the one to care about others expectations of me. I've just always listened to what I expect from myself (which is always more than what others think I can do). Trust me. Once you get to school and you get the first bits of homework and sacs out of the way you will become more relaxed.
