IR AND NMR HELP.

I'm having quite a bit of trouble understanding these topics. Mainly Infrared Spectroscopy and NMR Spectroscopy. I have read summarised notes, as well as the Heinamein textbook, but still, no such luck.

Can someone pls give me a simple, easy-to-understand and detailed explanation of them?
