i want to achieve over 38, is it gonna be difficult? Will i need to do a lot of work during the year?

Yes, you will need to work hard. To put it in perspective, a 38 corresponds to the top 15% in a subject.

Most of the students in that range would have certainly finished their holiday homework and some, the entire semesters work. So it's time for you to study hard and catch up! ;)

I got 41 for psych and if I remember correctly, I was averaging around A (with a few B+'s and A+'s here and there)
But it really depends on your cohort.
My advice is just study and do the readings your teacher sets you because the exam is based on textbook stuff anyway
