Introductory Personal Finance

Has anybody done this subject?

I was able to pass Finance 1 by cramming during swot-vac. Can I expect to get by with a similar amount of effort?

Also, does this subject teach you any skills that can be applied to real life? I ask because this is my breadth, and if I can't learn anything useful, I'd rather do an easier subject.
