It doesn't really crash per se. More that it gets overloaded in requests, and so it's practically the same thing.

I managed to complete my timetable by 10:45 last year by just refreshing after failed page loads and doing other stuff for 5 minutes while pages loaded

It took them 2 years to figure out to put a link up on the Portal Homepage directing students straight to the timetabling site so they don't have to log into the portal to access their timetable.

I think I remember that from first semester of first year.  Is that where everyone's timetable was pre-made and you just had the option of changing?  And it would tell you the capacity?
