is it right to have some that are 30 mins and some that are like 2 hours? :/ and also, is it bad to have a lecture that finishes at, say 4 and a tute that starts at 4?

Yes, tutes can be of varying lengths depending on the subject.

Classes finish 5 minutes before the hour, and start 5 after the hour so you have 10 minutes. Commerce timetabling question
