First VCE Year 12 SAC tomorrow... SHIT

I've got my first VCE Year 12 SAC tomorrow and in short, I'm really nervous. I've studied as much as I possibly can and from as many resources as humanly possible but I'm not feeling much better. How do I calm myself down?

Watch a movie or video that makes you laugh. Laughter is the best medicine =)

Haven't got mine in about2 weeks! You guys must be ahead.

my advice: go for a run and sleep. Oh, and lots of Sheldon watching.

1. Sacs arent the be all and end all
2. If you've studied as much as you can then that should be enough to calm you down
3. Relax for most of today but be sure to look over reoccurring questions or troublesome questions

Once you get past this first milestone so to speak, you will have a huge sigh of relief and realise that Sacs arent that bad at all! And tbh they arent unless youre school has ridiculously hard ones - even then if you prepare well you should be able to obtain a high ranking.

I guess what didn't help was the fact that our teacher literally scared the hell out of us. :S

They do that to not only scare you, but the others as well. If your calm, in turn, you will have the advantage, no matter how much you have studied:)

Having sacs early is better than having 4 in 1 week, you'll get that in term 3 which is a pain.

Just try to relax and try not to stress out as its only your first sac.

And..Remember to help your friends as a stronger cohort means better SS inturn

I was shitting myself before my first SAC last year too, it's normal. Just use those nerves to your advantage by ensuring that you don't make out 24 + 36=50, like I did on my first SAC (AND THAT WAS BIO!!!!! )

How was it?
I'm in year 12 and I don't get my first unit 3 SAC until the start of March...

Turns out the SAC 'doesn't count' as it was merely testing if we did the holiday homework. -.- Anyway, I got 18/20 (90%) and we didn't get ranked on it. Thanks for the support, guys. I guess this informal test makes me feel better about SACs in the future.

I have my first test for specialist maths next Tuesday. Wish me luck guys

I thought it was a real SAC too, so I'm a little upset I put all that hard work into that test. :/

Well, in terms of SACs, just relax, study for them, do a practice SAC when you feel you're ready for the SAC and that should give you an indication of how you're going and what you need to improve on. Improve on what you need to and you know you're prepared for the day. Work as much as you need to, no need to overwork! But if you approach your SACs systematically, and you know how to "prime" yourself for them, not only will you do well in them, but you're giving yourself great practice for Exams later on too.
