Psychology Textbooks

Hey guys,

Im taking Mind, Brain and Behaviour I this semester and was wondering whether the prescribed textbook, costing almost $200, is actually necessary. In addition are the other guides to writing in psychology and how to construct research reports that are 'strongly recommended' actually helpful or remotely necessary?

Thanks.

(Just trying to save cash). :D

You don't need any textbooks for first year psychology.  Just use the lecture notes (except for Simon's section because his slides have absolutely nothing on them).

Heyy :) Where did you find out which book we'll need for MB&B 1? Is there a booklist somewhere? I checked in the handbook and it says "no prescribed texts" :-\

You need to log into the portal and under the admin tab there is a booklist section. Use that to find the books you need. However, im not sure which ones are exactly necessary.
