2012 Monash AN O-Week Meet-Up! :D

It's the annual AN Monash meet-up :D This has been been around Facebook for a while now (credit goes to taiga and b^3 though), but we want as many people there as possible, both newbies and all current students.

The current details (subject to change):
When: To be decided
Where: Not sure, to be decided :) But it'll be on campus
What: Just a simple social occasion to get to know your fellow Monash students with AN connections. Not sure if they'll be food on anything, so post ideas up on here!

Soooo, post here if you can come and what days/times are suitable :)

I think Thursday is very heavy for Med and Wednesday is very heavy for Engineering students, so probs not on those days, so post up your preferences :) Suggestions of the "where" would also be awesome :)

Wednesday is the main day for the engineering faculty, so preferably not Wednesday. Could always make the place the grassy area/benches between the food court, the science buildings and the I.T buildings, see what everyone think :)

Great way to meet new people at Monash by the way, that's what O-Week is all about.

Will bring some drinks and chips or something, probably people won't eat that much.

A good location is the 'boob lawn' next to the Lemon Scented Lawn (the main O-Week Lawn). We'll put a phone number up closer to the event date just in case there is a last minute change.

P.S they don't let you use MSA and student edge together :P

Yeah everyone be sure to visit the Monash University Chess Club and MUSLCC at the back corner of the Lemon Scented lawn. Will be there for most of the time.

I think they're making me DJ at day time (not sure why...) between 12 and 12.30 on Monday too

excuse me, but was I not on that list? 1st year meddies definitely can't do Friday. Wednesday seems to be pretty much free for us, there's plenty of stuff on Tuesday and Thursday... my personal choice is Wednesday, but otherwise maybe Monday?

Someone fails to realise that Tuesday and Wednesday is compulsory for people enrolled in commerce...
By the looks of things, Monday will probably be the best choice.
