Which book is actually better?

Essentials or MQ in terms of the worksheets and exercises from the book?

In my opinion, I'd say essentials has rougher questions, but I never used it, I used, heineman as their trig questions were really challenging (and I used maths quest because it was what the school had chose)...
Try to do questions from both books

Having both the Essentials and MQ books, I can say the MQ book is much better. All of the chapter review questions have been pulled out of previous exams and exam tips have been included from the assessment reports. However, you probably should still buy a study guide, because textbook questions are not the same style as exam questions.
